Vision for Education are looking to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant on behalf of a small Primary School, situated in a rural part of County Durham.

The position is temporary and will start at the beginning of May 2015, continuing until the end of the summer term. 

Mornings will be spent providing booster sessions to small groups in Literacy, using the schools programme (Success for All) training will be provided. 
Two afternoons a week will be spent covering PPA across the whole school. Teaching from reception to Y6, planning will be supplied by teachers.
The other three afternoons will be spent taking small groups and individuals for intervention in reading, writing and numeracy.
The schools academic standards are high.  OFSTED this year recognised the high standards of the school and that children make good progress.  The school continues to work tirelessly to improve the learning environments and provision for all of their children, the curriculum for the whole school and integrate ICT into daily teaching and learning and promote community cohesion locally, nationally and internationally.
The school are ideally looking for someone is flexible, hardworking and has experience of working will all age ranges.
The successful Candidate must hold a relevant qualification: BA Hons in Childhood Studies, or a National Accredited HLTA Qualification. NQT's are also welcome to apply.
The salary for this position will be £70 per day.
