35.5 hours per week x 39 weeks per year Monday to Thursday 8.15 – 4 Friday 8.15 – 3.15
We are seeking an individual who has specialist skills/qualifications in the specific curriculum/learning area. You will be required to work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff and within an agreed system of supervision, to implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom. This could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas and will involve assisting the teacher in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources. You will be required to lead and line manager the Teaching Assistant within your area in conjunction with the Area Leader/Learning Zone Director.
The successful candidate will have access to the Local Government Pension Scheme.
You will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
