Higher Level Teaching Assistant

31 hours per week

The Head and Governing Body of George Street Primary and Nursery School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and committed professional HLTA to work alongside our fantastic team of staff who support our pupils across our Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2.

Qualifications / Experience:

• Relevant Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualification - essential
• Excellent numeracy/literacy skills – equivalent to NVQ Level 2 in English and Maths - essential
• Training in relevant learning strategies eg: intervention programmes in literacy & numeracy - desirable
