The High School invites applications from fully qualified, enthusiastic and experienced teachers to join our high-performing teaching team in September 2015 for the following post:

TEACHER OF HISTORY WITH RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

An opportunity exists, to join our highly motivated and successful Humanities team to teach History to A-level and to teach Religious Education to GCSE.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom teacher with:

  • A History degree together with an internationally recognized teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching History at Key Stages 3, 4 & 5
  • Experience teaching Religious Education to GCSE level
  • A record of excellent examination results at I/GCSE and A-Level

He/she will be:

  • An excellent classroom practitioner with creative and innovative ideas, committed to achieving high academic standards and passionate about creating a stimulating and student centered learning environment
  • Computer literate
  • Willing to be involved in a wide range of school-related activities
  • Expected to fully adhere to and support the Christian ethos of the school

Prior experience teaching internationally would be an advantage.

Salary range: CI$37,000 – CI$47,000 per annum and will be commensurate with experience. Other benefits include medical insurance, contribution to a pension plan and relocation allowance, including airfare.
