Thuringia International School (ThIS) in central Germany seeks a History teacher as soon as possible to work primarily with students age 13-18. Previous experience teaching IB and/or (I)GCSE programs is preferred.

ThIS is set in the beautiful town of Weimar and provides an international experience for 290 children of expatriates as well as German nationals.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a commitment to international values, an ability to work in a flexible and collaborative manner, and good inter-personal skills. A willingness to work closely with teachers, to partake in after-school activities, and to support school events are essential.

This will be a two-year contract renewable by mutual agreement after July 2017.The school will provide full support in supporting the selected teacher with travel to Weimar and organizing accommodation in the town.
