We are seeking to recruit a House Parent whose skills, experience and personal attributes will equip them for this exciting opportunity.

Mill Hill Short Courses

Located in beautiful parkland, just 30 minutes from Central London, Mill Hill’s Short Courses provide the perfect setting for learning and enjoyment. Our courses are aimed at both students who will be joining British Boarding Schools and at those who wish to sample a British education.

We offer courses to students aged 12-17, combining English learning with Mathematics and Science or Sport. These core elements are complemented by a varied programme of creative activity classes including Music, Dance, Drama and Art. Although the focus of our courses is on academic progress, the varied social programme and exciting range of sports, activities and excursions ensures that students find their time at Mill Hill both stimulating and rewarding.

The Summer School will run from Saturday 29 June 2024 (two days of induction) until Monday 26 August 2024. Contracts for 2/4/6/8 weeks are available.

About The Mount Mill Hill International

The Mount, Mill Hill International is a co-educational boarding and day school for international pupils aged 13-16. Situated in the Green Belt on the borders of Hertfordshire and Middlesex and just ten miles from Central London. Forming part of the Mill Hill School Foundation which is set in 160 acres of beautiful grounds. Weekly and full boarding is available for entry at Year 9, Year 10 and Sixth Form. Pupils from all over the world come together in an inspiring school to gain internationally recognised qualifications, a transformational educational and cultural experience. 

We offer a traditional British educational experience and an academic curriculum up to GCSE/IGCSE and specialist EAL teaching. Pupils for whom English is not their first language receive English language tuition while at the same time studying a range of other subjects in order to equip them for further study whether at Mill Hill School or elsewhere. Suitable also for British pupils returning to the UK after a period abroad, Mill Hill International offers an intensive one year GCSE/IGCSE course for pupils entering Year 11 and a two year GCSE programme where students will study between 8 and 12 subjects.
