Values and vision

City College Norwich has a goal of becoming a top ten college nationally. This aim is supported by a plan to implement a new professional training model where the practice of learned skills happens in a space approved by an employer. Other building blocks which support this vision include: modernising the teaching workforce to communicate present service conditions in a particular field; and cultivating and nurturing excellent partnerships with parents, other schools, potential employers and the education authority.

Ofsted report

“The College is making a significant contribution to the wider strategic development of education and training in the city and across Norfolk, in close partnership with the local community, schools and employers. This is helping to strengthen progression routes, raise the quality of provision and improve value for money. Quality improvement and staff development initiatives have raised the quality of teaching, learning and assessment and led to improved outcomes for learners. There are good progression opportunities and high progression rates for many learners.”
