Job overview

We are seeking a fully qualified, experienced practitioner with relevant classroom teaching experience to take on teaching of Humanities with History specialism for IB Middle Years and Diploma Programmes. Current IB Diploma teaching experience is highly desirable. A post of responsibility within the department may be available for a suitably experienced candidate.

ISL London

The International School of London is a pioneering international school that has paved the way for integrating mother tongue languages into a standard international curriculum, starting in the Early Childhood years. Founded in 1972, it was one of the earliest International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Schools. ISL London now offers the IB Primary and Middle Years Programmes as well as the IB Diploma. Today, the majority of students (over twice the international average) qualify for the prestigious IB Bilingual Diploma.

Curriculum

An International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, they offer the Primary Years (PYP) and Middle Years Programmes (MYP) as well as the IB Diploma. The IB programmes combine intellectual rigour and high academic standards with a strong emphasis on the ideals of international understanding and responsible citizenship.

This was one of the first schools in the UK to offer the IB diploma.
