IB Teacher - Kindergarten or Primary School (English) - Full Time

ICS Côte D' Azur is looking for a full time qualified English-speaking kindergarten or primary school teacher for an international school with a bilingual program.

Responsibilities:

• Teach creatively and dynamically in a bilingual (French/English) environment according to the IB curriculum.
• Work closely with the other language teacher to implement the 50/50 program, where students alternate between French and English classes.
• Design and implement innovative educational programs that integrate STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) learning principles.
• Encourage outdoor learning by developing and organising outdoor educational activities.
• Teaching at the level expected to deliver the curriculum, adapt teaching activities accordingly and ensure that learning objectives are met.
• Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing intervention strategies where necessary.
• Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and community members to foster a holistic and enriching educational experience.

Requirements:

• Bac + 3 et, Diplôme en éducation (PGCE or equivalent degree from an English institution)
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Valid teaching certification.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a changing learning environment.
• Passion for education and commitment to the integral development of each student.
• Knowledge of pedagogical approaches centred on active and experiential learning.
• Ability to integrate outdoor activities into the school curriculum in a meaningful way.

Assets Appreciated :

• Experience in an international school and/or bilingual school
• Bilingual in French and English
• Trained in and experience of teaching the IB program

Contract:

• 35 hours per week from Monday to Friday,
• monthly base salary paid in 12 monthly installments between 2,537.50€ and 2,966.67€ per month gross depending on profile and years of teaching experience,
• permanent contract starting August 19,
