We are seeking to appoint an ICT Apprentice to provide high quality support to AET Professional Services staff and to our academies. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who would like to start a career in IT. You will work as part of the IT team supporting day to day housekeeping of systems and devices and working with the service desk to provide assistance to end users.

During the twelve month apprenticeship you will have an Assessor and will undertake an Level 2 Diploma in Professional Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals and Level 2 Work Skills for Effective Learning and Employment. You may also be required to complete Literacy, Numeracy and IT Functional Skills (this will be determined by existing qualifications). Training will be mainly through workplace assessment which will take place every three-four weeks.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic individual who is customer focussed and has a keen interest in technology and IT. If you would like the opportunity to enter into the workplace, gain experience and an IT qualification we would welcome an application from you.

The successful candidate will be required to commence employment as soon as possible. This will be a fixed term contract for one year with the opportunity to progress onto a Level 3 Diploma in Professional Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals for an exceptional candidate.
