Job overview

Cranleigh Abu Dhabi stands in beautiful and spacious grounds of 18 acres, in a prime location between the Cultural and Beach Districts of Saadiyat, Abu Dhabi. Within a two kilometer radius of the school, pupils and staff have access to the cultural and leisure high spots of the city: Louvre Abu Dhabi, Guggeinheim Abu Dhabi, Zayed National Museum, Saadiyat Beach, Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, and New York University.

The school is expected to grow considerably over the next few years. Class size will be restricted to an average of 18 per class. Although the school could cater for well over two thousand pupils at capacity, the target roll is 1500 aged 3-18.
To support this growth, we are recruiting the very best staff available. Highly attractive packages, including (as far as possible) on site accommodation in a purpose-built apartment block, will reflect the professionalism of our staff and the value we place in them.

Cranleigh Abu Dhabi has separate Junior and Senior Schools; separate Science and Art Departments with first class resources; two Music Schools; three Libraries; a large sports arena, with separate gymnasiums and a dance studio; two swimming pools; extensive playgrounds and two grass pitches; a 650 seater theatre and separate ‘black box’ drama teaching space; a Recital Hall and Lecture Theatre with 100 seats. Up to four boarding houses, an AstroTurf pitch and an additional four tennis courts form part of phase 2 development due in 2017..

A great source of strength is the close partnership with Cranleigh School in Surrey, UK. Significant collaboration in curriculum development, policies and ethos will ensure the highest possible standards are maintained.

Cranleigh Abu Dhabi is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all its employees and volunteers to share this commitment. All employees resident in the UAE are subject to the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the regulations of the Abu Dhabi Education Council.

Cranleigh Abu Dhabi is an Equal Opportunities employer. Only applications submitted on the School’s Application Form will be considered. To Apply please submit an Application Form (found on the Admissions Page of our Website) along with a CV and Cover Letter to recruitment@cranleigh.ae

Deadline: 8th May 2015
