Job overview

We are currently seeking an Inclusion Leader within our fully inclusive, all-through learning community. We are in a position to offer full and part time applications for this post. We have both temporary and maternity hours and the possibility of permanent working hours. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who has outstanding experience and/or potential. As Inclusion Leader you will be expected to motivate and inspire students, staff and parents to develop and promote a culture that challenges students to achieve at the highest levels. 

The Inclusion Leader would work with the AP (Inclusion) on the calendar of review meetings for designated students and attend these meetings as the school’s representative.

Assist/establish a programme of learning which enables students to pursue their studies with a combination of mainstream teaching and small-group teaching, as appropriate to each individual’s needs.

Contribute to school progress and improvement by participating in the school development planning and target setting process.

Assist with the professional development within school where it relates to students with SEND/autism.

Take an innovative approach to working with young people with SEND/autism and encourage students and teachers to aim high.
