About All Saints Church of England Primary School

All Saints C.E. (Aided) Primary School opened in 2008 following the amalgamation of The Palmer Junior School and Whitelocke Infant & Nursery School.  Located in the heart of Wokingham, we provide a seamless education for children aged 3-11 years.

We are a Voluntary Aided Church of England School and have strong links with All Saints Church, Wokingham, and with the Diocese of Oxford.  Christian faith underpins the ethos of the school.

All Saints is an inclusive school that serves the individual needs of children from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities.  The school has a greater proportion of children with SEN than the Wokingham average.  We are a respected Resource for children with complex physical needs.  Children are integrated into mainstream, with support for their individual needs.

We are ‘GOOD’ school (Ofsted September 2016) with an ‘OUTSTANDING’ Early Years provision and are committed to raising standards further.  Our talented staff and supportive governing body are focused on raising standards further and creating a successful and bright future.

We have very high expectations for our children. The children in our Early Years make ‘exceptionally rapid and sustained progress’ (OFSTED) which is reflected in near national average levels of GLD.

Phonics screening and KS1 results are in line with the national average and this marks a significant improvement from previous years from which we continue to build. We have strong progress data in evidence throughout the school and our focus is to further improve that for all our children.

Ofsted found that:

· The school’s motto, ‘Pride in the Badge’, runs throughout all aspects of school life. It is reflected most strongly in every pupil’s pride in their achievements and in their determination to do well, regardless of background or ability

The full report can be found at http://www.allsaints.wokingham.sch.uk/ofsted-and-siams-reports/

The school site is spacious and attractive, covering over four acres of land, including an outdoor swimming pool and large playing field.  There are adventure play areas and an outside classroom.  There are several gardens, with a school pond and nature trails.
