STAR INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL MIRDIF is an exciting Community in which to learn and teach. We are looking to appoint Inclusion Teachers who have the enthusiasm, commitment and energy needed to work in a growing and improving school.

ARE YOU THE KIND OF TEACHER WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We wish to appoint Teachers who would like to play an active part in the development of teaching and learning for children who come within the categories of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), EAL and Gifted & Talented. The successful candidate will be part of an Inclusion Team working hard to overcome specific barriers to learning and to provide students with the tools they need to achieve and to progress.

In addition, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Teacher to develop the role of Head of Inclusion. The successful candidate should be hard working and able to work in collaboration with others. They will need to demonstrate high expectations, consistently good or better teaching and effective relationships with parents and outside agencies.

The Head of Inclusion will have responsibility for leading the Inclusion Team, coordinating high quality assessment, support and intervention, as well as delivering staff development, to ensure inclusive, high quality teaching, where pupils, regardless of barriers to learning, make accelerated progress.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Relevant teaching qualification: minimum of a BEd or BA/BSc + PGCE/QTS
• Good working knowledge of latest UK practice
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a Leadership role preferable but not essential

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Contracts are for two years in the first instance and include: tax free salary, furnished accommodation or allowance, medical insurance, flights, visa costs and gratuity.
