Are you passionate about supporting learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential? Join us as an Inclusive Practitioner and play a key role in our commitment to providing inclusive education.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing support to an allocated caseload of SEND, EHCP, and High Needs learners.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for specified learners during their transition to, time at, and transition from college.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to assess, plan, implement, and review support for individual learners on a termly basis.
  • Working closely with program area teams to ensure curriculum design and delivery meet the needs of learners, fostering independence and preparing them for adulthood.
  • Reviewing learners' progress, updating Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and ensuring compliance with EHCPs.

We are looking for candidates with experience in teaching/supporting SEND learners with an understanding of the preparing for Adulthood agenda and SEND Code of Practice. Applicants should be confident, have excellent communication skills and along with experience working directly with learners with SEND in an education, health, or care setting.

Applicants will be primarily based at one campus but must be willing to work at any of our college campuses as needed.
