Job overview

In response to an increase in student numbers in the Secondary School, the International British School of Bucharest is seeking to appoint a Mathematics teacher to teach Key Stages 3-5, preferably with the ability to offer ICT as a second subject to students in Key Stage 3 only. To start 17 August, 2015 (INSETT Week August 17-21). To start teaching Monday, August 24.

The successful candidate must be fluent in English, an outstanding teacher, passionate about teaching Mathematics, able to teach A Level Statistics, and Further Math (preferably), with strong classroom management skills, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching the National Curriculum of England.

Requirements:

  • Positive outlook on life
  • Good communication skills
  • Evidence of outstanding teaching in mathematics
  • Minimum 2 years teaching the National Curriculum of England
  • Native English speaker
  • EU passport holder

Additional requirements sort, but not essential:

  • Previous experience in international schools

Terms and Conditions of the appointment:

  • An initial 2 year renewable contract offers a competitive compensation and benefits package commensurate with the responsibilities of the position.
