Abbey Hill prides itself on providing quality education, support and care for its pupils with staff who always try to go "the extra mile".
The school places great emphasis upon pastoral care and the emotional well-being of the children in our care and also offers support through our Outreach work to pupils and staff in mainstream schools.
The Governors are seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Key Stage One Teacher to join our existing hardworking and caring team. The role will involve working with pupils with moderate learning difficulties, ASD and Communication & Interaction difficulties.
Ideally you will have experience of teaching in Key Stage One with knowledge and understanding of the requirements of working with pupils who have a Statement of Special Educational Needs. However, we welcome applications from teaching professionals from either a mainstream or special school background as well as NQTs.
Visits to the school are welcome. Please contact Mrs. Stevenson to make an appointment.
