The governors of South Acton Children's Centre (SACC) wish to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to assist the Cook to produce a wide variety of nutritional meals for the children, staff and visitors to our newly restructured Children's Centre.

Our popular and vibrant Children's Centre offers high quality education and care to children aged from 6 months to 5 years. The Centre operates from 8am to 6pm (Monday - Friday) and throughout the year.

Working closely with the Cook, you will be responsible for keeping the kitchen clean and tidy with particular regard to health and safety and food hygiene requirements. You will be able to relate to and interact with a range of people from diverse communities, have a friendly, courteous and helpful approach and have experience of preparing, cooking and serving meals. You will also possess a Level 1 Food Hygiene certificate or be willing to obtain one within two months of appointment.
