Kitchen Assistant

The Pointer School is an Independent Christian Prep and pre-Prep school in Blackheath, Southeast London. We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic catering team.

A Kitchen Assistant is responsible for:

·      Basic food preparation;

·      Washing up, cleaning and clearing all kitchen areas;

·      Serving food to the children and staff;

·      Unloading and putting away deliveries;

·      Emptying bins, sweeping and mopping floors;

·      Ensuring all equipment is clean and put away correctly;

·      Deep cleaning fridges and store rooms to maintain sanitary and kitchen safety standards;

Working hours are 8am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday and is term-time only (18 weeks holiday per year). The position will commence in April 2024.
