KS1 Class Teacher

Rowde Church of England Primary Academy is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Class Teacher to join its friendly team, with effect from September 2024. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT who is keen to support a school which is committed to helping all children to flourish. For an experienced teacher, there are CPD opportunities for leadership.

Salary: MPS (£30,000 – £41,333). Contract: Fixed (until 31st August 2025).      

Rowde CofE Primary Academy is a welcoming and caring school, educating children between the ages of 4 and 11 years. Located in the charming village of Rowde, Wiltshire, we have close links with the local parish (who are actively involved in school life) and wider community. • Can teach a broad range of engaging and effective lessons that motivate, inspire and improve pupil attainment;
• Can plan and deliver lessons and sequences of lessons to the highest standard that ensure real learning takes place and pupils make superior progress;
• Is able to raise attainment and challenge children to achieve their best;
• Has a commitment to extra-curricular activities;
• Is aware of current initiatives in the KS1 phase;
• Is an effective team member who can contribute positively to the work in KS1 and across the school;
• Has a positive, cheerful outlook with a good sense of humour;
• Is able to forge good relationships with students and staff;
• Is able to work hard and remain calm under pressure;
• A desire to work within the Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) structure.
