Rowde Church of England Primary Academy is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Class Teacher to join its friendly team, with effect from September 2024. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT who is keen to support a school which is committed to helping all children to flourish. For an experienced teacher, there are CPD opportunities for leadership.

Salary: MPS (£30,000 – £41,333). Contract: Fixed (until 31st August 2025).      

Rowde CofE Primary Academy is a welcoming and caring school, educating children between the ages of 4 and 11 years. Located in the charming village of Rowde, Wiltshire, we have close links with the local parish (who are actively involved in school life) and wider community. Our staff are committed to helping children develop into happy young people with enquiring minds, a spirit of curiosity, love and respect for themselves, others and the environment. We are looking for someone who:  

  • Is committed to becoming a truly excellent teacher;
  • Can teach a broad range of engaging and effective lessons that motivate, inspire and improve pupil attainment;
  • Can plan and deliver lessons and sequences of lessons to the highest standard that ensure real learning takes place and pupils make superior progress;
  • Is able to raise attainment and challenge children to achieve their best;
  • Has a commitment to extra-curricular activities;
  • Is aware of current initiatives in the KS1 phase;
  • Is an effective team member who can contribute positively to the work in KS1 and across the school;
  • Has a positive, cheerful outlook with a good sense of humour;
  • Is able to forge good relationships with students and staff;
  • Is able to work hard and remain calm under pressure;
  • A desire to work within the Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) structure.
