Due to our very successful KS1 Leader leaving us to begin her next adventure, there is an exciting opportunity to join the leadership team of Greenhill Primary School. This is a position that was created as part of our strategic drive to become an outstanding place of learning. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational KS1 Leader who will play an important role in shaping the vision of excellence in progress and attainment for our younger learners.

You will be an experienced primary teacher with a clear understanding of what outstanding progress and attainment looks like, and keen to progress in your career. Previous experience of leading within the KS1 is desirable although defiantly not essential. Your role will include teaching within KS1, leading developments, supporting staff and being responsible for assessment. You will join a strong and supportive team of staff within Greenhill Primary who are committed to providing the best possible learning opportunities for its children and staff. Candidates must be committed and passionate about improving the life chances of every child.

Our ideal candidate for Greenhill Primary will:

  • be an outstanding teacher with a focus on achieving excellent pupil attainment
  • have experience of managing others and supporting them to develop their teaching practice
  • have experience of raising standards and developing excellence
  • be highly skilled at delivering numeracy and literacy
  • demonstrate experience of reflecting on and improving teaching practice to increase pupil progress and achievement
  • have the resolve and enthusiasm to make a real difference to the lives of our talented pupils
