About Benedict House Preparatory School

We place great emphasis on providing a supportive, caring educational environment at the school with pastoral care a central element of life at Benedict House. With small classes throughout, teachers are able to educate, encourage and nurture pupils on an individual level and help in the development of their knowledge, character and personality. The vibrant learning environment is one where children feel safe, happy and challenged to always achieve their best.

  • Co-Educational (Pre-School – Year Six)
  • A happy, enthusiastic community
  • Outstanding results
  • Significant 11+ success

The result of this careful attention is plain to see, children leave Benedict House in Year Six as confident, well-rounded young people who are ready for the challenges both inside and outside of their next school.

Academically, Benedict House always ranks in the upper echelons of leagues tables.  Locally, we have been the most successful 11+ school in Bexley on numerous occasions with our results guaranteeing that a significant proportion of our Year Six move on to grammar schools every year.  Nationally, we are an annual fixture in the Top 100 Prep School within The Sunday Times Parent Power league tables, which are based the strength of SATS results and in 2015 enjoyed our highest placement yet, ranking 9th in the country.
