Job overview

We are looking for a Key Stage 3 English Teacher to join our growing staff team. The successful candidate will carry out the functions of a English subject teacher within the English department. They will be given CPD and support in understanding the pedagogy and curriculum of KS3 that builds from sound knowledge and skills acquired in KS1 and KS2. They will work in accordance with the Teacher Standards and the stated aims and objectives of the Birchensale Middle School.

Birchensale Middle School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational middle school in Worcestershire serving students from the age of 9-13 years. The middle school is situated in Redditch and has approximately 600 students on roll.

Birchensale Middle School runs a successful breakfast club that was identified as good by Ofsted.
