We have recently restructured our services and are redefining our relationships with our strategic partners in Leicester to deliver our vision. Our journey has begun and we are now looking for a Raising Achievement Lead Adviser who can turn the vision into a reality. A highly skilled and effective, Lead Adviser, Vulnerable Groups and Virtual Head Teacher for Looked after Children will be essential to our service and ensure our most vulnerable children and young people are well supported and are given the skills and expertise to achieve their aspirations.

There is a commitment from all partners to tackle our challenges together and celebrate our successes collectively. As the Raising Achievement Lead Adviser you will be required to work closely with senior officers, headteachers, governors and other strategic partners to deliver our key priorities for vulnerable children and young people and ensure that schools fulfil their safeguarding responsibilities.

To achieve success you will have outstanding leadership qualities with exemplary communication and negotiation skills, and will have a demonstrable record of achieving success and influencing outcomes, together with the ability to win the confidence and trust of Members, staff, the community and our partners.
