Oasis Academy Lister Park is a secondary school and sixth form in Bradford, about one mile from the city centre. Previously known as the Challenge College, it is now named after Lister Park, an award-winning public park opposite the school. Initially a community school administered by Bradford City Council, it became an academy and was given its new name on 1st September 2013. The Oasis Trust sponsors the school, but it handles admissions in cooperation with the council. Oasis Academy Lister Park offers GCSEs and BTECs to pupils, while sixth form students can study from a range of A-Levels and further BTECs.

Values and Vision

The academy’s aim is to boost aspirations, help students reach their potential and promote a 'can do' culture. Its ethos is rooted in Christian values like respecting people’s freedom and beliefs, as well as working actively against discrimination and social exclusion. The academy wants to develop informed learners with confidence and a willingness to ask questions and solve problems. It believes this can be achieved through top-quality facilities, outstanding staff and partnership with parents.
