 Brook Green Centre for Learning continues to be an 'Outstanding' school (Ofsted 2024). We are a vibrant and aspirational community of teachers, support staff and learners. The school is purpose built for young people aged 11-16 who have cognition and learning and social, emotional and mental health needs. Our superb accommodation enhances the teaching and learning environment.

 We are seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic Teacher to lead the Science curriculum and to join our thriving and happy school community. You will need to have the knowledge, skills and creativity to be an outstanding teacher. A genuine passion to enhance the learning and life chances of SEND students by introducing them to the wide range of skills and knowledge of Science is most important. 

 Our excellent CPD offer, ensures that all teachers, no matter their level of experience are able to develop and improve. We are focused on ensuring staff well-being and pride ourselves on being a supportive employer.

Main Duties and responsibilities

·       Working within the Science department to raise student achievement.

·       The continued development of the department.

·       Teach the Science curriculum at key stage 3 and 4 to GCSE level.

·       Contribute to enrichment and intervention support within the Science department.
