Lead Teacher of the deaf, Manager of the hearing support team

An exciting opportunity has arisen in North Lincolnshire for the appointment of a Lead Teacher of the deaf, manager of the hearing support team due to the current post holder moving to another LA.

The Educational Psychology , Specialist Teaching Teams, parents and children and young people of North Lincolnshire are keen to welcome a new Lead Teacher for our well thought of service. We are looking for someone with expertise and experience who is forward thinking, creative, a team player and has a sense of humour.

We are at a new stage of development in North Lincolnshire with our hearing impaired team and we require a team manager to take our developments forward. We have excellent relationships with our audiology colleagues, our nurseries and schools, young people and parents. We have a dedicated unit attached to a primary school for a small group of children, and we are hoping to develop resourced provision in one of our secondary schools in the future. We have a dedicated team of staff and a fantastic group of students who we work with.

We are proud of our office accommodation , individual IT, excellent parking and a very supportive admin team. There is a generous relocation package for successful candidates from outside of the area.

North Lincolnshire is a rural county with picturesque villages and within easy reach of the North East and the East Midlands. There is an excellent train service from Scunthorpe to Doncaster, Sheffield and Manchester . The motorway network enables easy access to major cities.
