Wembley High Technology College will become an all-through school with a new primary site with state-of-the-art accommodation from September 2015. The College will then grow year on year until 2022. The school was judged to be outstanding by Ofsted and we are regarded by Schools minister as one of the highest performing state schools in the country.

The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who will join a dynamic and committed team to teach across Key stage 1 and Key stage 2. We are looking for a leader who can make a significant contribution to this strong ethos of the College. The successful applicant will be creative, well organised and will actively support the Senior Leadership team to further develop excellent learning across the College. You will be expected to lead and actively contribute to the vibrant programme of extra-curricular support provided to all pupils. The post is suitable for exceptional NQTs and fully qualified teachers, we offer outstanding bespoke training programmes to all.

The Leader of Key Stage 2 will work closely with the Leadership Team. The right candidate will be committed to driving standards and ensuring that every child is challenged to achieve their maximum potential. In this role you will play a vital role in planning, developing and leading an aspirational and high attaining curriculum for our Key Stage 2 students.

  • Able to lead a team of teachers in planning and delivering a quality curriculum.
  • A professional who is able to work in partnership with parents and other stakeholders
  • Experienced as a KS1 and KS2 practitioner
  • Have a recent proven record of high standards and excellent pupil progress
  • Have outstanding behaviour management strategies
  • Experienced in leading high quality curriculum planning and assessment with an excellent understanding of assessment in the EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
  • flexible, adaptive and self-directive
  • have a dynamic, proactive and creative approach to working with others
