Learner Pathways Manager - Full Time 37 hours – Term time + 2 week

Join our dynamic team at John Leggott College as a Learner Pathways Manager - Professional Opportunities Leader. In this pivotal role, you will oversee a dedicated team, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive career guidance (CIAG), employment provisions, and enriching curriculum-linked opportunities for our students. Your innovative vision and specialist knowledge will drive the implementation of strategies to support team members and ensure timely, appropriate support aligned with current service delivery models.

As the Lead 'Industrial Relationships' Practitioner, you will forge partnerships with businesses and industry leaders within our community, fostering collaborations that reflect the priorities of our local authority and enhance progression opportunities for our students. Your role will see you champion our programs and initiatives both internally and externally, establishing JLC's professional visibility and encouraging a culture of forward-thinking collaboration with external stakeholders.

In addition to managing team performance and ensuring quality standards, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future pathways of our learners. From overseeing apprenticeship programmes to providing individualised support, you'll empower our fantastic students to contribute to a positive culture and reach their full potential.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

·        Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with staff, students and external stakeholders

·        Experience in a marketing or people-oriented field

·        Ability to take initiative, work creatively and innovatively, and make effective decisions

·        Outstanding administrative and analytical skills 

·        Experience of delivering sessions/workshops to students or groups

YOU WILL HAVE:

·        Experience with working with young people.

·        Knowledge of the current curriculum on offer in 6th Form colleges

·        Excellent communication and listening skills

·        Excellent management and organisational skills 

·        CEIAG Qualifications Level 4 or above

·        Attainment GCSE’s or equivalent, to include English and Maths at grade A-C.

Salary: SSP19 £33,325 FTE. Actual salary £30,095pa.
