Due to the promotion of the current post holder, the Governing Body of Sacred Heart School are seeking to appoint a creative and inspiring classroom practitioner to lead our Maths Department. This post is suitable for an experienced teacher looking to develop in a school which is committed to providing an outstanding education for all students.

We are committed to the development of education professionals and have a proven track record of providing support for those who chose to train for the teaching profession. Sacred Heart is the Lead school for a consortium of primary and secondary schools in the borough of Redcar and Cleveland who offer teacher training places through School Direct. A third of our current staffing complement started at Sacred Heart as teacher trainees or Newly Qualified Teachers and over 50% of them have gone on to have whole school responsibility points.

Sacred Heart is outstanding in its inclusion policy and practice, making every effort in our mission to deliver the very best for all the students in our care. The School was judged as Outstanding by OfSTED in 2011 and holds a number of nationally recognised awards including: Inclusion Quality Mark, International Schools Award, Enhanced Healthy Schools and Investors in Careers.
