Learning Mentor

Wellesbourne Primary and Nursery School is looking for a committed, enthusiastic Learning Mentor. We have a very supportive governing body, staff that are committed to providing high quality and enjoyable teaching and learning and a high quality learning environment.

We are looking to appoint an outstanding person to work with identified children across school in order to further raise their self-esteem, aspirations and academic performance. The ideal candidate will be proactive, positive and flexible, a great team player with excellent communication skills and will be responsible for the development of effective mentoring relationships with both children and their parents.

The school is committed to safer recruitment practice and pre-employment checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

We welcome applications both from experienced learning mentors or from those with other relevant experience of working with children or young people who can demonstrate their ability to engage children, from a range of backgrounds. Potential candidates are invited to visit the school week beginning 18th May 2015.
