The Learning Mentor will work with children to provide complementary services that enhance existing provision in order to support learning, participation and encourage social inclusion by developing and maintaining effective and supportive mentoring relationships with children, young people and those engaged with them.

The Learning Mentor will work as part of our safeguarding team to reduce the risk of harm to pupils. They will work with school staff and families to ensure the safety of pupils both within and outside of school. This includes working closely with children and families, completing all necessary paper work and making referrals to external agencies where necessary.
