Learning Support Assistants (Hourly Paid)

Salary: £9.79 per hour (inc. holiday pay) plus excellent benefits

Hours: Will vary according to need – term time only however our current requirements are around 20 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bank Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support the excellent work of our teaching staff. We require enthusiastic applicants to support individuals or small groups of students both within and outside of the classroom environment. The successful applicant will be required to work supporting all levels and areas across the whole college up to Level 3 in the main Curriculum areas, with all age groups.

Applicants should possess good communication skills along with GCSE English and Maths Grade C or equivalent and either hold the City and Guilds 7321 or be prepared to work towards an appropriate qualification.

Experience of working with students across the autism spectrum, care qualifications or previous experience of support work in a similar environment will be an advantage.

The hours are 09.00am – 4.30pm (occasionally 5.00pm) term time only but these hours can be flexible to meet the needs of the right candidate.
