We are seeking to appoint a motivated Learning Support Assistant. The person appointed will be required to provide duties as outlined in the attached job description. We are looking for a lively, enthusiastic individual who is a strong team player. Previous school experience is desirable but not essential. Full details will be explained on the interview day.
This post is exempt from Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974). A comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on all applicants, which will include a check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Qualifications / Experience:
- 5 GCSEs A-C or equivalent (2 of which should be in Maths and English)
- ICT capability
- NVQ level 3 (or equivalent)

Croesyceiliog School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in Cwmbran, South Wales, UK. There are approximately 1,561 students at the school between the ages of 11-18.
Formerly known as Croesyceiliog Comprehensive School, Croesyceiliog School was opened in 1960. It changed names in 2000.

Croesyceiliog School aims to support and challenge students and encourage them to become independent learners who achieve to the best of their ability. The secondary school follows the motto: ‘Learning, Respect, Ambition”. It wishes to create a close-knit community within the school, where students feel valued and supported and embrace the core values of learning, tolerance and ambition.
