Learning Support Teacher

North Bridge House Preparatory School, founded in 1939, is an independent co-educational day school for children between the ages of two years nine months and thirteen.

At North Bridge House Preparatory School our primary aim is to develop confident, happy, successful children who feel proud of themselves and their achieve-ments.

North Bridge House Prep School is seeking to appoint, from September 2015, an additional experienced and well qualified full-time teacher to join our Learning Support team. Working under the direction of the Head of Learning Support, the role will primarily be to teach pupils from Year 3 to Year 8 with Specific Learning Difficulties. The candidate will be required to teach on a 1-1 basis as well as providing small groups support in Literacy, Numeracy and Study Skills.

The successful candidate will have experience in supporting pupils across the Prep age range and an appropriate qualification in teaching learners with specific learning difficulties (minimum OCR level 5 or equivalent) is essential.
