Job overview

The School seeks to appoint a part-time Learning Support Teacher.

The exact days and hours are negotiable.

The successful candidate will have extensive SEN experience and preferably have a post-graduate certificate or Masters that qualifies them to be an internal assessor for access arrangements. They should be familiar with the most recent.

JCQ regulations relating to extra time in examinations. Experience of testing and diagnosing SpLD and helping boys prepare for English GCSE/IGCSE would also be preferable.

Harrow School is an independent boarding secondary school for boys aged 13-18. It was established, by royal charter, in 1572 during the reign of Elizabeth I. It is operated as a Royal Charter Corporation, which is a charitable trust whose trustees are the school’s governors. The school licenses the Harrow name to a number of schools in Asia.
