A well-qualified part-time Learning Support teacher is required for September 2015. This selective School requires a graduate ideally with a postgraduate SEN qualification to work in its Learning Support Department and support academically able and high functioning boys who have mild specific learning difficulties. Ideally, candidates should be qualified to request Access

Arrangements for public exams and have communication skills appropriate to developing interaction between SEN and academic staff. Expertise in study skills for secondary school curriculum and enthusiasm for IT are essential. Ideally, the applicant will be able to offer support for EAL though we would support training in this.

The School has a long-standing record of high academic achievement (92% of A Level entries gained A* to B grades in 2014) and there is also much happening in terms of extra-curricular activities. We expect all staff to be fully involved in school life.

The School occupies modern buildings near St. Paul's Cathedral overlooking the Thames, opposite the Tate Modern.

The school site is situated by the Thames. It has over 20 acres of sports pitches. It was established in 1834 and moved to its present site in 1986. The school is governed by a board and by the City of London Corporation, which appoints its governors.
