The Business Studies and Finance curriculum area are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and highly motivated full time lecturers to contribute to the Business and Finance programmes at levels 1, 2 and 3.

You will have relevant teaching qualifications (or a commitment to achieving them within two years of appointment) and you will be qualified to degree level or equivalent and experienced in Business and Finance subjects.

Applicants must be willing to contribute to curriculum change and innovation in this area and be able to deliver consistently outstanding learning opportunities and be able to motivate and inspire learners.

You will be fully qualified and able to teach to a minimum of Level 3, with considerable experience within the Business sector.

Located in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, Barking and Dagenham College is a large further education college providing qualifications and work skills to learners aged 14 and over. The college has seen extensive redevelopment and modernisation since its founding, and as a result can boast of a wide range of different teaching and recreational facilities. The college also works closely with external providers and business partners, in order to provide some teaching and work-experience off-site for students who require it.

Barking and Dagenham College offers a huge range of courses for learners of every kind, young and old, full and part-time. Of particular importance are courses aimed at 16-18 school-leavers, with a number of A-level and BTEC courses being run by the college, as well as foundation degrees for students looking to go into higher education. The college itself does actually offer a limited number of higher education degree courses, with students able to take advantage of the college's location and flexible financial offerings.
