About the role:
We are seeking to recruit an excellent Lecturer in Business / Public Service Management, with immediate start, for courses ending this current academic year 2015. You will be working as part of a team in the delivery of our high level provision and will have previous experience in either of the following areas; Social Theory, Resource & Financial Management, Legislation & Social Policy, Equality & Diversity and Managing Accounting Information.
It is essential that you hold qualifications in teaching and Maths & English at level 2. The experience and/or the capacity to design and deliver teaching, learning and assessment are also essential together with the experience of teaching higher level courses. It would also be desirable if you have some experience of working in business or in the Public Service sector.
About you:
You must demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills that will enable you to work as part of a team to ensure quality, accreditation and moderation and you must be able to demonstrate proven success in courses/training that you have been involved in.
The post will require you to take a leading role in the success of our students and to contribute towards the pastoral and academic support that individual students may need. You will also effectively use data and College monitoring systems to support the full achievement and success for students.
