The Centre for Care, Health, Public Services and Childhood Studies offers a wide range of learning opportunities for students who wish to work in these fields. Within this Centre there is full-time provision across Health and Social Care, Childcare and Public Services; plus a large work based learning provision providing training in the workplace for Housing, Health, Social Care, Cleaning, Youth, Teaching Assistants and Childcare. We are seeking to appoint a full-time Lecturer in Health and Social Care to join our professional team.

You will teach across a range of courses and levels; and in your role as personal tutor you will play a key part in helping our learners achieve the highest possible standards. In addition, as part of a curriculum team you will contribute to course promotion, delivery, planning, development and student support.

Ideally we are looking for a qualified and experienced teacher. You should have experience of working within a Health & Social Care setting and of delivering training to groups. Experience of Internal Verification and of being a personal tutor would be an advantage.
