About the role:
We are seeking to recruit an excellent Lecturer in ICT to teach on a range of qualifications and courses within the School of Digital Technologies; specifically coding and/or app development, and possibly including Maths for ICT practitioners (al BTEC). The post holder will also be required to act as a personal tutor and to develop and plan for the future curriculum.
About you:
With a degree or equivalent reflecting a strong background in ICT education and/or the ICT industry, you will also have a teaching qualification. You will have sound knowledge of current ICT practice and the ability to use a range of software is essential. The post holder will be expected to produce high quality assignment briefs and to promote excellent opportunities in their delivery for assessment for learning. The ability to coordinate differentiated activities and classroom manage cohorts of ICT further education students is essential. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and to communicate effectively with colleagues, employers and with students and to motivate and support them in their studies.
