Situated in our newly refurbished Wakefield Campus, in the heart of our culturally vibrant city, our science lecturing team benefit from brand new and well equipped laboratories, a central study area with dedicated PC’s and three science technicians who provide excellent support, advice and guidance.

As Lecturer in Science, you will be an enthusiastic Biologist or Biochemist who is able to teach mainly Biology with some Chemistry up to and including Level 3. In your first year you will teach units on BTEC Applied Science courses (Levels 2 and 3), Biology on Access to HE and an evening GCSE class.

You’ll be working with committed A Level teachers who have a proven track record of success and enjoy a good sense of camaraderie. As Lecturer in Science you’ll have the opportunity to share resources and good practice and to exchange intellectual ideas in this stimulating environment.
