About the Role
Selby College’s successful Sport department is seeking a Lecturer in Sport and College Sport Development to join their team of experienced Lecturers. This role will include contributing to the delivery of a range of courses from Vocational, A level and Higher Education. In addition, the successful applicant will contribute to the further development of our sports coaching provision and our academies, as well as administering non-curriculum sport enrichment activities.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree in Sports or an equivalent professional qualification and preferably hold a relevant teaching qualification.
Previous experience of working in FE or a similar environment is essential
All work in the College involves some degree of responsibility for safeguarding children, although the extent of that responsibility will vary according to the nature of the role.
A DBS check will completed as part of this role.
