FTE 0.304 (13.5 hours per week, 37 weeks per year)

We are looking to recruit a Learning Resources Centre Assistant on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, to assist with the running of the centre on a day-to-day basis. The successful candidate will undertake a range of activities, including supporting the centre users with their IT queries, assisting with the administrative tasks such as ordering of resources, making our new book stock ready for use, communicating with our users and contributing to the development of the centre’s services.

The team receives a vast range of enquiries from staff and learners which vary from day-to-day. This is a key front facing role which can be very busy at peak times. You will need excellent communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.

In this post you will be required to work 3 shifts per week currently - Monday from 10.00 am to 3.30pm, Wednesday from 10.30 am until 2.00pm and Thursday from 3.00pm until 7.30pm.
