Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed person to care for and supervise our children during the lunchtime period at our Pre-Prep School. You will be an integral part of the team assisting the girls in the dining room, ensuring their well-being and helping to make lunchtime a happy and sociable occasion.

In particular, we are looking for someone who has experience with young children, perhaps through being a parent themselves. Previous experience of working in a school is not necessary, though an ability to establish positive relationships with children would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic ‘can do’ approach and is eager to go the extra mile to ensure our girls receive the highest standards of care.

Your hours of work will be 11:30 – 13:00 Monday to Friday. A degree of flexibility with your working arrangements is required from time to time to assist us in meeting the needs of the busy school calendar.

Oxford High Prep and Pre-Prep School is a happy and vibrant place to work: our girls are highly motivated and behaviour is excellent. From our youngest reception pupils through to Year 6, there is a sense of pride at being part of the Oxford High community. The School provides a broad and inspiring education through its curriculum and ethos.
