An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic strategic leader of this new and ambitious programme.

The Managing Director will lead and organise the Liverpool Counts programme on behalf of the Liverpool Learning Partnership.

Liverpool Counts is the Liverpool Learning Partnership’s response to the identification of mathematics as an issue facing settings, schools, academies and colleges across all phases in the city.

Liverpool Counts is based on the successful model of Liverpool City of Readers and aims to raise standards in numeracy and mathematics by changing attitudes and perceptions through the delivery of the Liverpool Counts quality mark and the promotion of the importance of numeracy as a life skill through business links and cultural opportunities.

The position of Managing Director is offered on a part-time basis of two days per week. The position will initially be for one year with an extension a possibility. The position could be offered on the basis of a secondment. Remuneration will be commensurate with the experience of the successful candidate and will reflect the strategic nature of the role.The position will carry full salary replacement costs for a seconded person.

Shortlisting will take place on 7th September
Interviews will take place at Notre Dame Catholic College on 11th September 2015
