Mathematics Teacher

Dubai International Academy (DIA) caters to students from KG1 to IB Diploma. We offer a rigorous curriculum and a rich language programme in an international setting based on the three prestigious programmes from the Geneva-based International Baccalaureate – Primary Years Programme (IB-PYP), Middle Years Programme (IB-MYP) and Diploma Programme (IB-DP). In fact, we were the first school in the U.A.E authorised by the International Baccalaureate to offer the full continuum of the IB curriculum.

Core Purpose

1. The core purpose of this role is to provide professional leadership in the Mathematics Department and as a Mathematics Teacher – highly motivated Mathematics teachers with leadership experience may apply.
2. Experience in IBMYP, IBDP, (I)GCSE, A-Level, , or any other outcomes-based education system will be an asset.

It is likely that teachers without the relevant leadership experience could be considered for a possible 2nd in Department.

Qualifying requirements:

• Experience in a large secondary school with experience of teaching Mathematics to post-16 level. Experience of IB programmes is desirable.
• Bachelor’s Degree and a recognised teaching certification. Applicants with a Master’s Degree or higher in Educational Management and Leadership will be welcomed.
• Good communication and technology skills are key requirements.
