Job overview

Suitable for an NQT or experienced teacher

The Chichester High Schools are successful, rapidly improving schools which have an exciting future ahead of them as we work towards a full merger of the two schools in September 2016. The two schools already have a shared Sixth Form which is thriving and academically successful.

MFL forms a part of the Languages departments at the High Schools, which are comprised of talented, high-performing, creative teams of teachers. We are looking to recruit a specialist who would enjoy working in a collaborative way. The post will involve teaching across the age and ability range, mainly in the boys school in 2015-6. Initially, we are particularly looking for a teacher of French and German, though the combined MFL team additionally also offer Spanish and Latin.

The School has been recognised within The Kemnal Academies Trust as being a centre of excellent practice in CPD. Staff have a wide range of high quality CPD opportunities on offer throughout the year. We also have an excellent support programme for NQT induction year.

Closing date: 11 June 2015
