Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for teaching humanities to secondary students and to be the educational leader in the classroom; ensuring the curriculum is implemented in a way that maximizes student learning;
- Execute student supervision duties as arranged; being student tutor;
- Participate in school activities, events, parent evenings, professional development meetings, etc. ;
- Participate in after-school or in-school activities;
- Other duties assigned by Principal.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above with major in history, humanities or related subject area;
- At least 4 years’ full-time teaching experience in secondary school; working experience in boarding school or bilingual school is a plus;
- Relevant teaching qualification;
- English as mother tongue;
- Open-minded, innovative spirit, strong desire to learn, excellent team player, strong sense of responsibility;
- Living in dorm is possibly requested.
Successful applicants will bring enthusiasm and creativity to this role, teaching classes of 20-25 students on a full-time basis, and must be flexible and open to learning about new cultures.
