This is an exciting opportunity for a Netball Coach to join our outstanding PE department.
The post holder will be responsible for taking a lead role in coaching Netball in games lessons; co-curricular clubs, fixtures and pre-season sessions, under the leadership of the Director of Sport. The ideal candidate will motivate and inspire all pupils to develop their netball skills and game awareness, through well planned sessions-promoting a love of Netball and physical activity in general. They will work with the Director of Sport and Head of Netball to identify potential ‘performance’ athletes and assist with guiding their development and work with the Head of Netball to develop the coaching practice amongst the staff body.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Netball coaching qualification (ideally Level 2 or above)
- Hold a Netball umpiring qualification (ideally B award) or be confident to umpire to 1st team level
- Maintain high professional standards of themselves and pupils
- Have excellent time management skills and high levels of organisation
It would be advantageous to have played or coached to a high standard or in a professional environment
